Last week in lab we watched a video about online dating, and individuals who used online dating to find their significant other. We didn't get to watch the whole video but the interviews we watched were all success stories which makes sense because 1/3 of U.S married couples have met online. To be honest some of them were actually really great stories and big chances were taken. An example is the first interview we watched the lady married at a young age got divorced. she then started using online dating and found a guy in Russia I think. they talked for a while and she finally got the courage to fly over and see/meet him. little did her family know she was actually going to be getting married while over there. turns out it all worked out they got married had kids and are located somewhere on the eastern coast.
When it comes to dating online and exploring the internet for that special person there can be a lot of risk by doing that, there also can be a lot of reward by doing that. But nothing says its a guaranteed love story. While dating online can help people feel confident and can also turn right around and bite you straight in the ass, people everyday get catfished over the internet. I agree and support the whole dating online community but really cant feel all that bad for people who actually get catfished because there's a point in time where it should just feel weird that you haven't met this person, and they keep dodging your bullets to meet sometime.
Dating Online as mentioned before and in class is starting to become a big thing in todays world. As mentioned before there is definitely a lot of risk. Reward while trying to online dating thing. when its comes to accessing dating website you'll the n be able to make a profile give info about yourself and so on.
